For Visitors: What to Expect

Welcome

Senior Pastor Jim Halbert explains what you might expect upon visiting Crossroads for the first time.

What to Expect?

Our Sunday Morning worship experiences at Crossroads are comprised of two primary elements: corporate worship and a life-challenging message. Corporate worship is led by a team of musicians who incorporate scripture, prayer and a variety of music both old and new which is consistent with today’s culture. Pastor Jim Halbert or one of the teaching pastors delivers a relevant teaching that can be viewed live in the gathering place, our main meeting room, or via video in the meeting place, which is a smaller room located just off of our foyer near the main entrance. We also have a private video venue for nursing mothers. Our worship time lasts for one hour and fifteen minutes.

What about my children?

The Children’s ministry at Crossroads is designed to partner with parents to provide children with the skills, experiences and resources that will enable them to become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Our children’s ministry, encompassing ages birth through 5th grade, is based and named after the Bible story of King David in the Cave of Adullam where 400 discontented and distressed men went into the cave with David to hide from their enemy King Saul. While in the cave these men were transformed into the greatest fighting force Israel had ever known. Read more about this story here.

Anything for Students?

Our youth ministry at Crossroads is under the direction of Pastor Jeremy Graves. The associate youth minister is Charissa Halbert.  There are multiple opportunities for students in sixth grade through twelfth grade to get involved.  Jeremy and Charissa are dedicated to helping connect the heart of your student to the heart of God.
