How It Began

The Crossroads Community Church story began in January of 1996 as six adults gathered for Bible study and prayer in a home, seeking God’s direction for planting a church in Nampa. Six weeks later this small group trusted God and began its first service at the Nampa Civic Center. They were not alone in their efforts, as the Evangelical Methodist Church sponsored, gave financial assistance, and accountability to the new church.

In November of 1999, Crossroads Community Church was blessed beyond measure when Calvary Baptist Church gave their building, located in downtown Nampa, to the Crossroads family. Three years later, through the sacrifice and generosity of many in the body of Crossroads and beyond, we now worship in our present facility on the east side of Nampa.

The body of Crossroads believes in generously giving from ourselves and our resources. We do this by providing a community counseling center, multiplying new congregations, and partnering with ministries in the Treasure Valley and around the world.

“This is what the Lord says: Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it.” Jeremiah 6:16
