We're glad you're here
We hope that Crossroads can be a place of refuge for you, and we're so happy to have you as a part of our community. If you're curious about our mission as a church or our history, you can learn more here.
What to expect
Our Sunday morning worship experience at Crossroads are comprised of two primary elements: corporate worship and a life-challenging message. Corporate worship is led by a team of musicians who incorporate scripture, prayer, and a variety of music both old and new, consistent with today’s culture. The Lead Pastor, Jim Halbert, or one of the teaching pastors, delivers a relevant message. The message can be viewed live in The Gathering Place, our main meeting room, or via video in rooms 4/5, which is a smaller room located just off of our foyer near the main entrance. We also have a private video venue for nursing mothers. Communion is included in our service on the fourth weekend of each month, and all are welcome to partake. Our worship time lasts one hour.
What about my children?
The Children’s ministry at Crossroads is designed to partner with parents to provide children with the skills, experiences, and resources that will enable them to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
This ministry is dedicated to children from birth to pre-kindergarten. Cave Cubs utilizes a check-in system that ensures a safe environment for your child and also allows for efficient drop-off and pick-up for parents. Please ask one of our ushers or greeters for directions to help you find the appropriate room for your child.
The children’s worship experience at Crossroads is designed uniquely for children in kindergarten through fourth grade and meets in the gym during each of our services. While in Cave Kids, your child will experience engaging age-appropriate teaching, music, and activities developed to point your child toward a daily relationship with Christ. Cave Kids is led by Rebecca Minnette and staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers who are there to care for and love on your child.
Bridge 56, designed for fifth and sixth grades, works closely with both Crossroads' Kids ministry and youth ministry to effectively transition preteens from one to the other, partnering with parents to help students transition into their teen years and follow Christ all the days of their life. We incorporate this transition through small groups, teaching, and community building events. Bridge 56 meets during each of our services.
Our youth program, Generation Now, offers Sunday morning youth services open to students from seventh through twelfth grade. Youth services are held in the Venue immediately following worship during the 9:45am and 11:15am service times. Youth Group meets in the Venue from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday evenings.
Beyond Sunday mornings
We believe that refuge and transformation are found beyond our Sunday worship services.
