Our body is large enough that it is sometimes difficult to know how or where to get connected with others. We often get asked:
“How do I get connected?”
“What kind of growth opportunities are available during the week?”
Churches and the various things they plan (meetings, groups, programs) are not the answer to the goal of personal growth, but can be a meaningful part of the overall process that God is working in our lives.
We know that everyone has a life outside of Crossroads and its activities, as well you should.
So, we can’t be the main thing in your life (only God Himself should be that). You’ve got families and work, friendships and relationships with lots of people. You are hopefully in partnership with God in the world.
The church at its best is an equipping or refueling center where we find fresh grace (through the means of grace) to keep growing and partnering with God.
God has designed us to need one another, to grow in connection with others [c.f. Gen. 2:18].
Here are some great opportunities for growth this Spring- jump in, get involved and let the Holy Spirit move in your life!
May God direct as you prayerfully consider these opportunities!
