Important information:

New Law for the ATV riders we have clarified the new law about using ATV’s with minors on the roads around and in camp. The web site to check this out is www.parksandrecreation.idaho.gov So now that we have become aware of the law we need to try to abide to it with the best of our ability. Below I copied and pasted a section of this law that I think applies to Man Camp. Thanks everyone for your understanding as we try to set an example to those who visit our camp.

“Any unlicensed operators under the age of sixteen (16) years, on national forest roads must have completed a motorbike or ATV safety course approved by the Idaho department of parks and recreation, and a certificate or other proof of completion of such safety course shall be in the possession of the unlicensed operator of any ATV, UTV, specialty off-highway vehicle or motorbike, or shall be present in the vehicle at all times when the vehicle is operated on national forest roads.

For purposes of this subsection, “supervised” means that the supervising adult must be in a position, on another ATV, UTV, specialty off-highway vehicle or motorbike, or if on the ground, within three hundred (300) feet of the unlicensed operator, to provide close support, assistance or direction to the unlicensed operator.”
